Discover Cairn
What is Cairn?
Cairn is a digital reference library, in French language, covering the different fields of human and social sciences (SHS).
Within the framework of the subscription taken out by The Source, you can query and consult in full text more than 450 journals covering the disciplines of the SHS.
Please note that the other resources proposed (books, magazines and Que sais-je/repères collection), are not included in our subscription.
If you would like to know more, please visit the official website.
How does Cairn work?
On-site
You can access Cairn via an IP connection on the Isara and Isema premises using the link above.
Remotely
You can also access the database off-campus (outside the school) via the link at the top of this page, allowing authentication in your browser with your usual Isara or Isema access codes.
To benefit from advanced features, or if authentication does not work for you, you can create a free individual account on the Cairn website, using the procedure described at the bottom of this page. Your account will allow you to customise your homepage, create your bibliography and export it to Zotero, access your consultation history or receive alerts when your favourite journals are published.
